Senay Lemma
CEO & Founder

Senay Lemma is the Founder and General Manager of People First Consult PLC, bringing over 16 years of senior leadership experience in human resources, talent management, and organizational development. His extensive career includes leadership roles with Elsewedy Electric (Regional HR Manager – East Africa), Coca-Cola SABCO (Ethiopia), Fonterra Brands Ethiopia, and DHL Worldwide Express Ethiopia, GIZ, CRS as well as consulting assignments with, different local and international organizations.

A Certified Psychometric Assessment Practitioner, Senay specializes in job evaluation, reward structuring, and Ethiopian labor law. He has successfully led numerous HR transformation, compensation benchmarking, and restructuring projects across sectors. His achievements include passing the Top Employers HR Audit (2015 & 2016) and leading impactful change management initiatives that improved efficiency and employee engagement.

Sleshi Temesgen
Cofounder & Senior Consultant

Sleshi Temesgen is a highly experienced human resource management consultant with more than 20 years of experience across government, private sector, and development organizations. His areas of specialization include labor relations, organizational design, job evaluation, career pathing, and compensation benchmarking.

He has played a key role in major HR policy and structural reform initiatives and has provided technical support to several public and private institutions. Sleshi has worked with organizations such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Coca-Cola, and other large enterprises, contributing to the design and implementation of HR frameworks aligned with organizational and national priorities.

He brings an exceptional blend of technical HR knowledge, legal insight, and policy expertise—especially in aligning organizational systems with national labor laws and strategic plans. Notably, Sleshi was part of the national expert team that developed the Ethiopian Labour Proclamation No. 377/2003, contributing his expertise to the formulation of national labor policy and legal frameworks.

Adebabay Abay

Adebabay Abay is a seasoned management consultant with over 30 years of experience across Ethiopia’s civil service and public enterprises. His expertise spans institutional reform, organizational design, strategic planning, change management, and capacity building.

He has developed and implemented various strategic planning and HRM systems, led organizational restructuring projects, and provided technical support for multiple institutional reform initiatives. Adebabay has also published highly regarded research papers in recognized academic journals.

Renowned for his strategic thinking and practical insight, Adebabay continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening institutional effectiveness and driving sustainable organizational transformation in Ethiopia.
